grew intense

when I feared the morning

and what it could bring

You spoke to me

reminding me of Your presence

When the darkness of the storms

covered the skies

when my heart wept in sorrow

and emptiness

You spoke to me

reminding me, of Your presence

When I felt alone

abandoned and unloved

when time was my enemy

dragging out into infinity

You spoke to me

reminding me, of Your presence

When I heard Your voice

felt Your presence so near

when I saw the gifts and blessings

You placed before me

reminding me, of Your love

my heart was filled, renewed

in the strength of You

filled, with the peace

filled with the love

from You

and I was made whole
