This path to You, is long

it is easy as we walk to grow weary

trials beseige us

temptations taunt us

storms surround us

yet we know, to keep our eyes to You

follow You

hearing Your word, whispered in our hearts

reading Your words, treasuring them

as we follow them

obeying Your instructions

This path to You, is long

yet we are not alone as we travel

You walk with us

strengthen us

Your love fills us

You forgive us

when we turn our lives to You

We bear this cross for You

Our love Lord, we give You

as You have loved us

and You have so loved us

This path to You is long

but we hold no fear of the journey

for You are here

we walk in joy

we walk determined

to reach You

we walk, sharing You

with those we pass

This journey is long

but at its end

eternity waits

home waits

You wait

with open arms

to welcome us

at the journey's end
