unrestricted

You saw, the pain they caused

When I have acted

without thought

careless in deed

careless in action

You saw

when I walked past those

in need

when I turned away

from one suffering

You saw

Your voice reaches me

You know

when I have remained silent

when someone asked

about You

when someone was interested

questioned

and I held my tongue

when I saw one, lost

wandering in the dark

and I did not speak up

sharing You, Your glory

Your peace and love

You saw

You knew, my reasons

my excuses

yet someone, remains without You

because I remained silent

in this moment

Your voice reaches me

covering me with Your peace

forgiveness full

as You remind me

You are here

with me

and You know

You hear me

when I ask You

for Your forgiveness in my failings

You hear me

when I ask

for Your guidance and strength

You hear me

when I ask for wisdom

for the next time

let there be a next time

for me to share You
