Good morning Lord

here I face

another day, that You have made

given to me

as a sweet sweet gift

precious in its rarity

this day, I know, will ne'er come again

I have but the one chance

to make it good

I can walk out into this day

with You, determined to remain

with You,

thinking, of how You would handle each moment

the acts of others

the needs of others

Good morning Lord

thank You for this day

stay close with me, speak with me

remind me that You are here

hearing my words, seeing my reactions

to the actions of those I meet

help me Lord, that I act in compassion

reaching out, as You would

even though the acts may be small

in Your eyes, they are grand

for they touch those of Yours

thank You Lord, for this day

may I use it to Your glory
