In those moments

when I feel lost

You are my direction

guiding my steps

keeping me on the right path

to You

When darkness fills my vision

You are my light

brightening my path

lighting my way

so I may see when I tread

keeping me on the right way

to You

When this cross I bear

grows heavy

I struggle to continue

it grows difficult to do the things

I am lead to accomplish

when I grow weary

You draw me to You

give me a place of rest

When sickness comes

when this earthly body suffers

I feel You close to me

Your touch on my life real

as You bring healing comfort

helping me to continue

on this path to You

When the storms of this life grow

making progress more difficult

You are my shelter

my sanctuary from the storms

with a word, You calm the worst of winds

the hardest or rains

helping, to keep me on the right path

to You

These things I know

my heart feels You close

Your Spirit within dances in joy

at Your presence close

singing praise to You

as I know You are here, guiding me

keeping me safely on this path

to You
