forgive me Lord

I made comments

forgetting

just for a moment

my blessings

commenting

about the condition of a shoe

forgetting

there are those

without

something, of such little importance

in this life

something, of real importance

for those without

walking, no matter the weather

with feet bare

going without

food, when they are hungry

medicine, when they are ill

forgive me Lord

for not considering

the worries of others

the concerns of those without

I made comments

that could be considered thoughtless

by those
