You know

You knew, as You gathered he disciples together

how close was the time

speaking to them, showing them, reminding them

of Your purpose

yet, even then, understanding was not there

You knew, when they came in the garden

it was time

as You stood before the mockery of a court

silent, calm

even as they stood around, telling lies

You knew

when I stumble and slip

say things I should not

act in a manner I should not

You know

I feel Your presence, hear Your voice

and I know

in my shame and embarrassment at my ways

I feel You, reaching out to me

forgiving me. of my mistakes

forgiving me, my sins

You know me, You love me, no matter

because of this

I know
