as the first bird awakens, singing to the morning

going with me, into the day

walking with me, giving me strength

that I may deal with what comes

in Your manner

When my strength falters, I struggle to remain calm

You are here, whispering to me

reminding me, I am a reflection of You

How, do I wish to show You to others

in the cool of the morning

I hear You

in the heat of a moment

I hear You

in the peaceful times, where I seek the quiet

to hear You

to know Your presence

to feel Your presence within

I walk, remembering, I am a reflection of You

Your peace my comfort

Your presence, my guide

from the early cool of the morning

to those last moments in the evening
